“Building a Sustainable Future”
CONFERENCE AGENDA
The growing appetite of humanity is fuelling a resource deficient economy with impacts of climate change, water scarcity and quality, loss of biodiversity, poor air quality, poverty, health issues and food insecurity. Human induced activities have intensely transformed the earth’s ecosystem and resulted into major environmental changes and global emergencies. The crisis caused by climate change and the pandemic is a wake-up call that demonstrates nature’s ultimate power over lives and societies.
In order to build a sustainable future, strong commitments are needed to adopt solutions that will facilitate the transition to a carbon neutral future, increasing circularity and inclusivity. Globally, countries seek to accelerate the green transition and maximise the opportunities for sustainable solutions. Similarly, Government of India have pledged to combat the impacts on environment and put the planet on a resilient path. India today is mainstreaming effective, pragmatic solutions to embrace sustainable development by enforcing the 5 Ps i.e. People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership. In fact, clean growth and sustainable development is currently enmeshed into the very foundation of different government policies and programs.
The three-day event will bring together ideas and thought leadership that will inspire action to drive growth leading to a sustainable future. The conference will be represented by diverse stakeholders from the government, industry, and institutions. Participants to the events will include representation from industries, ministries, government departments, academia, financial institutions, civil society, consultants, bilateral/multilateral agencies, research scholars, educational institutions, and many more.
